Descendants of Sim and Ophelia McCown meet annually in the summer in Calhoun County, Texas. The 37th Reunion will be 29 July 2007 at the Union Carbide Clubhouse, between Seadrift and Port Lavaca, Texas. We have been encouraged with the attendance in the last several years, and we look forward to the next generation of the family "coming to the fore" and carrying on our traditions.
